Coraly asks for access to your camera and to Apple Health. Here is exactly what happens with each:
When you take a photo of your blood pressure machine, that image is processed entirely on your device to read the numbers. The photo is not saved to your camera roll and is discarded as soon as the numbers have been extracted.
There is one exception. If Coraly misreads a number and you correct it, the app may ask whether you want to send that photo and the corrected numbers to help improve accuracy. This only happens if you explicitly tap “Send & Help Improve”. It is never automatic, you can choose “Don’t ask again”, and if you do not send, nothing leaves your device. If you do send, the photo and the corrected numbers are delivered to me through a form-handling service called Web3Forms, and are kept only to improve Coraly’s reading accuracy. They are not linked to your identity and are never sold or used for advertising.
Coraly writes your blood pressure and pulse readings to Apple Health on your device. It also reads from Apple Health to display your history and graphs within the app. This data stays on your device and in Apple Health, and is never sent to a server or used for advertising. The only exception is the optional accuracy correction described under Camera above: if you explicitly choose to send a corrected reading, those few numbers (and the photo) are sent so the reading tool can be improved. Nothing else about your readings ever leaves your device.
Coraly has no login, no account creation, and no user profiles. It contains no advertising and no advertising or tracking SDKs that identify you, and your information is never sold, rented, or used to build a profile of you.
To keep Coraly reliable, a small amount of anonymous, technical information helps fix crashes and bugs and shows whether the app keeps working well. Coraly has no analytics server of its own, and the app does not send any data about you automatically.
Where it comes from: on your device, Coraly keeps anonymous crash diagnostics and simple error counts (for example, that reading a photo failed, or that saving to Apple Health did not succeed). These stay on your device and are not uploaded. Separately, if you have turned on sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple shares anonymous, aggregate statistics with us as part of the platform, such as crash reports, performance, installs, and how many people keep using the app.
What it never includes: your blood-pressure or pulse readings, your notes, the dates of your readings, or your photos; and your name, email, location, or any identifier that could be used to recognise you. It is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you.
Your choice: you can turn off the on-device diagnostics at any time in Coraly → Settings → Privacy → “Share Anonymous Diagnostics”. The aggregate statistics from Apple follow your device setting in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Coraly does not sell, rent, or disclose your information. Two providers may be involved, and only with data you or your device choose to share. Apple supplies the anonymous crash reports and App Store statistics described above, as part of the platform. Web3Forms, a form-handling service, delivers to me the things you explicitly send: an accuracy correction (a monitor photo and the corrected numbers), or a feedback or bug report (your message, plus your app version and device model). Web3Forms passes these to me and does not use them for advertising. If you never tap “Send & Help Improve” and never send feedback, nothing goes to Web3Forms.
Coraly does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The only information involved is anonymous diagnostics that cannot identify any individual, so the app is safe for use by people of any age.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. Given the nature of the app, significant changes are unlikely.
